The festival was known as Global Entrepreneurship Week Bhutan.
2018
Druk Tshongrig Gatoen (DTG) - Formal Launch

The festival was formally launched as Druk Tshongrig Gatoen (DTG) and shifted its annual timing from November to October to better align with the academic calendars of educational institutions. The event included a "Made in Bhutan Market Fair" with 29 entrepreneurs and reached over 2,000 youth in colleges and Technical Training Institutes (TTIs).

2019
Second Edition of DTG

The second edition of the festival featured 39 entrepreneurs displaying their products and services. The event was celebrated across 16 educational institutions in the country to inspire youth entrepreneurship.

2023
DTG

The final round of the RUB-BIC 2023 (Royal University of Bhutan-Business Idea Competition) was held during the festival at the Startup Center in Thimphu. The top three teams in the competition received seed investments of up to Nu. 500,000 to kickstart their ventures.

2024
Moving Forward

Key features included the Bhutan Food Dialogue, a collaboration with the FAO Bhutan to discuss a resilient food ecosystem. The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE) launched the new Tshongrig Website during the event.
